bloomingdales.com Design Pitch

This lookbook was inspired by the popular and the addictive social game Candy Crush, which been downloaded over half a billion times across Facebook and mobile devices, and maintains over 10 million US fans.

The beauty Color Crush lookbook demonstrates vivid “color candies” that represent the spring 2013 color trends. This engaging cross platform tool is adding a gamification layer and gives the user the opportunity to learn about the trendy shades, to explore the featured products and finally to play the fun Color Crush game to win daily beauty perks.
This game can be played in the “Color Crush game” tab at bloominddales.com and the daily winners’ announcements can be shared through the different social media channels. Also, it can be integrated into the Bloomingdale’s Facebook fan page and app.
